The Aloe Farm

ALOE FESTIVAL @ The ALOE FARM

21st June to 6th July

We kickstart the festival on the 21st June with a fun social day of music, food, drinks and related stalls.

The Aloe Farm’s famous annual Aloe festival is held every year during the peak aloe flowering season, which is in June and July. This is when our extensive aloe gardens burst into full bloom.

The ALOE FARM is also the home of De Wet Plant Breeders that developed these numerous unique Aloe hybrids and many other popular plant varieties, like the famous Agapanthus BLACKJACK that won the “Best new plant of the Year” at the RHS Chelsea International Flower Show in 2023 in the UK.

Join us when we celebrate the splendour of this treasured indigenous gem. You will not be alone as there will also be numerous birds, including sunbirds and other interesting bees and insects enjoy the beautiful aloes.

*During the festival you can join our daily, informative ”walk and talks” through the gardens will be led by Andy de Wet, Quinton Bean, or one of our experts. These are free and start at 11am every morning.

Attract birds to you own garden by acquiring famous aloe cultivars from our fully stocked nursery with many Aloe Farm favourites (Aloes, Agapanthus, Bonsais and much, much more)

Entrance is FREE!
